Current Favorite Fashion Finds

I love finding a good deal. It has kind of become a hobby of mine. Having had a background in the fashion industry, I understand the cost of production, as well as quality of material. This makes it hard for me to ever pay full-price for some brands that I know aren’t truly worth it. All day long I get asked where I got different clothing items I am wearing from, and I want to offer some of my most recent obsessions.

Now don’t get me wrong, I like the quality brands. The difference is I like to seek these brands out in unexpected places.

I have always been Lululemon’s BIGGEST FAN (I basically own a Lulu store in my closet...kidding...kind of), but I also know how to spot a good material when I see one. I wear fitness fashion on a daily basis to work, so I have to have comfort, cute styles, flattering material and variety. I need A LOT of workout clothes and I’m definitely not complaining. :)

I have found many other brands that provide top notch quality that meet my high expectations for a quality fit for half the price of most well-known brands. And where do I like to find these deals? Target, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Nordstrom Rack and once in a while I will hit up an outlet (side note: the outlets will usually have even the most expensive brands for cheaper, but you have to do some digging).

At Target, my favorite new brand is JoyLab. If you are looking for reasonably-priced, cute and quality fitness clothing, JoyLab is THE MOVE. What fun colors, designs and high-quality material this brand is using. They also have some of the most comfortable, casual t-shirts I have found. I am a huge fan, and I don’t feel as though I am sacrificing in any category from one of the more expensive brands.

At Marshalls, I am constantly finding diamonds in the rough. Almost every expensive designer brand is featured at this store. You may have to do a bit of digging, but some very quality pieces can be found here, sometimes for half the price. Go check it out for sure!

At TJ Maxx, I go immediately to the active wear to find one of my favorite brands, Kyoden. This brand has one of the best quality leggings I have found! They fit me exactly how Lululemon fits me, and I am slightly convinced they are using the same materials….food for thought. ;)

At Nordstrom Rack, I love searching for cute designer brand shoes and sunglasses. I am constantly on the hunt for my favorite brands, such as Gucci, Ray Bands, Sam Edelman, Tory Burch, Donald Pliner and an array of great tennis shoes. Hit up Nordstrom Rack for quick, inexpensive and fabulous designer styles.

My philosophy? Look for that one special piece! When you are traveling, it is worth making a stop at any of these stores or a local outlet. You never know what gems you may find at the different locations around the city, state or country. You may not always find loads of items at these stores, but you can find that one special piece to keep your collection building at home.

I am constantly on the search for the best quality at the best price. I won’t sacrifice my standards for the pieces I purchase, but I also won’t break the bank.
